The blade is 4 1/2 inches of convex ground 1095. This is a sharp little cutter.....

Looks good to me! Bring the tip up about half an inch or so and it would make a really fine dedicated skinning knife. As it is now, it looks like a great utility/EDC.

The scales are Jatoba. I ahve been using that a lot lately. I like it.
