huh.... two HI forums?

"Currently developing a great fear of commodes "

Roger?
I had much the same reaction the first time I unknowingly encountered a bidet.

Looks like an older forum that doesn't get much activity.
Just a half-dozen people originating a dozen threads ibnn the last 6 months.

That used to be "The Forum" and has been around a whole lot longer than the forum here.
It's a good place to go when BladeForums.com is down or slow.:D
I thought everyone knew about "the other forum." :p ;) :D

and generated lots of interesting and informative posts, but pretty much died down after the BF version got started. You can still learn a lot of good stuff from the HI Archive there.
Oops:o, just checked and realized that KF never archived HI - anyway, go back to the beginning of their 24 pages of HI Forum posts.

Berk, et al:
Wasn't the forum in the other place also once shut down for a while between different owners or am I just confused?

Yvsa,
The KF HI Forum was - what: inactive, shut down, in suspended animation? - before Uncle revived it by invitation, IIRC. That long hiatus is what makes the old original posts all the more interesting -folks like "SStamp" (none other than Cliff Stamp) and some guy named after an obscure blade alloy, uh, "Cobalt" I think:D

Boy KF, the good old days. That was like a warzone most of the time. Emerson, MD, Mission knives, man most of those threads are probably in limbo by now.
