Got this "little" hatchet a few days ago. I love how it feels in the hand, and the mirror polished edge is real sharp. Good looking hickory handle. Nice leather sheath.

The quality compares very favorably with my Gransfors Bruk axes and hatchets. The size makes it a good pack hatchet or for a belt.

Nice looking kindling hatchet. Give it about 10 overnight rubs of linseed oil and make that wood grain really pop. Never seen a new axe that didn’t need some linseed oil.😉

Who made the knife? John

It's a Helle Knives Bleja. Made in Norway. One of my favorite folders. Fits my hand perfectly. Rock solid lockup. And pretty good looking. The pic really doesn't do the Curly Maple justice.

Those wood scales on the Helle look more like Curly Birch, than Curly Maple? In any case great looking knife! John
