Humble apology

All,

I deeply apologize for my earlier thread regarding the kerambit. There's a guy selling HI blades on ebay, which I think is intended to make a profit for him. I think that to be disrespectful to Yangdu, the kamis, and the memory of Uncle Bill.

That being said, I understand my post to have been offensive to some. I also feel the humiliation intended by Nasty by leaving said post on the board with his comments.

Again, I apologize to all the members on this board and I will no longer post in this forum.

With regards,

bbulat

bbulat;

I read your straightforward post, which is all I know about any 'incident'.
I've always thought anyone with enough moxy to correct as he goes is worth knowing. Thank you for that. Maybe you should stick around.

stick around as munk said bbulat... it was an honest mistake :)
i was trying to give you a "hint hint" but i guess i couldve been a bit more straightforward  :D

I'm new enough that I can't invite you to someone else's house but....

Seems that if your apology is sincere there won't be future problems, problem solved.

Seems a good bunch here, a great product and lots of thoughtful conversation in the Cantina. Seems a shame to miss it.

Just my thought, do what you think is best.

No one has to leave...but the rules must be adhered to.

I'm sorry, could someone please clarify what bbulat did wrong? I looked at the rules posted here, and it appears there are only two rules that MIGHT have applied:

"Don't scam us
Don't post an item for trade, then post "cash value" or "will sell for" or "email for price" or something similar. We'll ban your ass. The trading forums are there as a courtesy, abuse will lead to them being removed."

OR

"No auction spotting
We don't care if you have something on ebay. Post a price and either raise or lower it."

Can someone please clarify, so that noobs like me to not run afoul of the powers that be? Thanks.

He advertised a knife for sale.

Not allowed here.

Also not allowed, spamming something here that is for sale in the forum where it is allowed to gold members.

Same for "deal spotting" as Cougar and Spark have defined.

Sometimes it can be unintentional, at least in those cases they only give you a "yellow card" instead of banning you.

So just take the warning and don't do it again (happened to me).

Me too, on another forum here at BF where I wasn't paying attention. My bad; whined to the mod, but figured it out later with some help from Nasty and all is well. Another learning experience.
