On my website I have posted some pics of this 11 pound beast and a few beam shots. Of course it is not nearly as bright and powerful as the 7MMcp HID light I consider the satndard for handheld brightness, the Mccullough x990.

I also have some pics of the OWL wallet light -- magnifier with a wee led light suitable for wallet carry and terribly useful for seeing the small details.

I will try a few more beam shots of the big guy and some usual friends at night.

Good news -- this one is way better than the "3 mmCP" hummer and its friends -- I have 4 or 5 of those implementations. Still nothing like the white "mother ship" beam of my x990. But it seems to throw as far or farther --- up close the x990 is so much better looking, but they both really light stuff up!

Two pics. In the first it is obvious which one is the x990. Not as obvious in the second one (x990 on left both times).
My 13 year old son always picks the hummer as the brightest light "in person" while I see the x990 as the brightest. The 16 year old splits depending on what and how fr away we are lighting things up. This says to me that the Hummer is no joke for a 50$ searchlight.

In case you missed that, it appears that what I bought is another incarnation of the Thor 10MMCP light. This light is capable (see candlepower for the lumen crazy) of being jacked up in performance to something just short of the sun apparently. OK, maybe not there, but certainly VERY bright for a 50-60$ light.
