If I hear tell correctly every snake in Aus is poisonous. Be sort of like wandering around in Churchill, Manitoba (Polar Bear capital of Canada) with an open cooler full of fish.

I'm not Aussie, I still call them thongs or sandals. I never have called them "flip-flops" like is popular now. That's a funny sign though!

Too funny, yes that sign is at the picnic area at Mount Royal National Park. In fact it's just about the only sign at Mount Royal National Park.

There was a similar funny sign at the park in downtown Singleton, warning of falling nuts. I don't have a good picture of that one.
There's now a not-so-funny sign at the same park warning people of diseases from bat crap - thousands of flying foxes roost there.
