Global Warming is the biggest scam in History, it got all of Al Gore's buddies and others very rich. (That's what it was designed to do)
 
I thought the topic was just a funny joke, and could have stood alone as a joke without bringing the nastiness of politics into it.


(hint - there are a fair number of scientists who enjoy Busse knives, and scientists aren't really happy about the idea of tens of thousands of their colleagues being called frauds because their findings disagree with your politics)

Guess you haven't read the latest band of tests that say it is a fraud then.

They provide the results that keep the grant money coming in so they can stay employed. ;)

It's a small climate shift, nothing more than that, it will shift again as history as shown.

Back in the 70's they tried the same thing with global cooling, but it didn't work once they found out it was BS.

I can post a ton of Scientific findings from over the years about a lot of different things that were proven to be BS. ;)

Thats not why they are frauds. They are frauds because the temperature has been dropping for 11 straight years yet they won't let go of the "global warming" hoax.

See, this is exactly the kind of conversation I didn't want to have.

How many grant proposals have you written? How many people have you personally known go through the tenure process?


You most likely have absolutely no understanding of this process, so you let news reporters and politicians, who stand to profit just as much if not more than al gore, cloud your judgement.



Politicians have taken advantage of the science, big time, and there are lots of companies jumping on the bandwagon to milk this for every dime they can, but to insist that tens of thousands of scientists are liars and cheats, and that millions of points of data are fabricated is deeply offensive. Work in science sometime, put in the long hours and years of education to work in a field with little or no recognition, and people like you, who work outside the field, all to ready to trash you whenever your work disagrees with their preconceptions of the world, and then you might have some business criticizing us.


Until you've walked a mile in our shoes, shut the hell up.
