I received my first BM-42 today!!
It's i n s a n e how light and thin it is.
I'm falling in love
I resistently woke up today after passing out after my first game of kinito (pardon my Spanish) where you throw dices and the "loser" drinks kabuchu (or whatever). Let's just say I lost big time and am stuck with a royal hangover.
Anyways, so I wasn't in the mood of even trying to react when the only thing in my mailbox was a bill and nothing related to my expected balisong. An hour ago I went to the kitchen to get something to eat and by then the "real" mail had arrived, including a notice that I could pick up my balisong at the post office. For some reason I was no longer hungry
It came in the most securely packed fashion I have ever vitnessed.
BM42|sheath|box|foam rubber|tape|2" of soft plastic blobs|cartboard|tape|tape|tape|tape
I feel h a p p y-y-y!
I have to call Rob, who sent the knife and thank him.
As to the quality of the knife - it's as close to perfect as you could expect. A few microscopical dents on the edge of the slots in the handle that cover the blade when closed.
Now, I have to lube my baby and rock and roll (and twirl
)
Please forgive me if my post is too cheerful (I know some are still bravely enduring the wait).
Cheers,
"Ber Verglung" (at least according to the address label on the package I received)
