I've not seen the movie nor read the book. But from here, that looks more like a Landsknecht short sword to me.

That is the Teen Angst Model 1. Guaranteed to make the user emotional, thinks it knows everything, and make the user want to pierce things that shouldnt be pierced in order to look "like an indiviual" even though every other teenager is doing the same thing.

Looks kind of like a Holbein gripped short sword.

Agree - it's got a profile like a Baselard. Looks like it's probably polished stainless or aluminum. May get more answers on the Sword Forum.
