This was the 3rd knife I made and my first attempt at stabilizing my own wood. I was desperate to make some damascus so hand hammered 100 layers. It was also my first time using knifeprint to design the knife before I started making it. This turned into a very popular and successful design for me. 6" blade, stabilized maple burl with a brass guard.

Constructive criticism
You need to widen the beam of light so all the blade and handle are illuminated

Thanks, the whole photography thing is a learning experience. I appreciate the feedback

Thank you. Last Monday, Oct 2, was the day I retired to do knife making full time. A bit nervous and excited about the journey.

Excellent

Actually used this knife this weekend deer hunting. What was really nice, is that it was the sharpest knife in the camp. the other 3 guys had all bought "sporting goods" knives and they are now considering "maybe those knife makers know their stuff"
