Just finished these two up yesterday. I like the shape of this first one so much I gave it a model number (Model 1 Hunter)
. It is built out of 3/16 1095 and is 7 3/8 inches overall with a 3-inch cutting edge. G-10 handles are removable so you can Flitz away the deer blood after a hunt.
This one has some cool ashi that I couldn't get to show up in the picture . .
I've been trying to work on some different grinds and while this isn't too wild, it has a slight recurve in the blade that made it sort of a pain. It is 9 inches overall out of 1095 with a 4 1/2-inch cutting edge. This one has some strange activity around the the spine that I'll try to get some better pics of later.
