12.5" OAL, 6.5" blade, copper fittings, W2 with cold hammered texture..

This is one I might make for myself if I can find time (get permission from the wife).

That's gorgeous - love the copper and rough forge finish... it seems to work really well together!

Wonderful knife. Looks really functional and ergonomic, and the lines, colors, and textures complement eachother very nicely too.

Another great looking knife.
Not nearly as tribal as your others. (Which I Love)
But just enough rustic elements combined with a clean looking knife.
I really like how everything came together on this one.

Really a nice piece in every respect - I get why you would want one for yourself.

I really like that knife--beautiful, functional, and well-designed for comfort and utility across a wide range of use.

Very nice knife Scott. I may have missed it, but what is the handle material? How did you treat the handle?... there is a richness to the coloring that I like.

Thank you everybody for the nice comments.

Erin... The wood is walnut (from Itsa Burl) with some sapwood in it. Stained with dark leather dye, but then most of that sanded away to leave some areas darkened. Then very lightly toasted with torch in a few spots. Pores filled with CA, sanded and Danish oil.

kind of has a Fogg look to it, imo. Very sweet indeed.

Yes, beautiful! I cant decide what i like better- the knife or the photography. Great complimenting background, as usual. I think i would trade the studio (glamour) shots anyday for "raw nature", as you do so well. - and, what a nice job on that handle! Superb.

Very cool. Thanks for the info. Seems like leather dye/toasting may be something I try in the future.

Scott, as others have said, a very handsome knife and one i would be proud to own and use. But, i do not understand the title "Dirk style". What aspects of this Hunter make it like a Dirk ?
thanks, roland

way cool! I love the flow of this knife. It is my favorite of yours thus far.

Thanks everybody...

As to 'dirk'... I've seen a few references to guardless bowies (with ferrule only) as 'dirks'. Probably loose interpretation....
