Been meaning to post these a long time.
This is the newer China model SOG Revolver I tested when it first came out.........needless to say I am very pleased with the way it performed.
Absolutly no problems at all in fact it sawed and cut as good as the original in my opinion.
I really like these knives.
I do baton with them and when I see a big knot I usually go to the other end and start, this way it splits them every time.
The key is to use them 99% of the time for sawing and cutting/slicing..........this is what I designed them to do.
Use your big heavy knives or ax for splitting big wood.
I sometimes use mine to baton to get to the dry wood inside smaller pieces to make fire if the wood is wet.
The saw is great to saw poles for lean-to, tent pegs, or a multitude of chores around the camp.
This is where I test and use these knives on my property,
I have a neat little camp shelter within 100 yards from my house..........I know it's easy...
but it works for the things I like to try with my Revolvers.
The thing so neat about these knives are form and function seem to be flawless......your slicing/cutting blade never gets in the way of the saw or vice versa.........in fact you would never know the saw was hidden in the handle if you weren't already aware of it.
I have handed these knives to people to hold for many years and many have handed them back to me never knowing the saw was there.
You can be sawing a tree and in two seconds flat be slicing meat............for supper.
A big chunk of fat wood !
Sunset in Tennessee..
And this is my pal, Mr. pale face, he lives in those woods in a deep hole under a stump and watches me each day I go over and comes to dinner at night...........he has absolutly nothing to do with knives......he does like cat food though.....
Hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed taking them..........more to come.
