Hunter skinner combo

Just finished this combo for a customer. CPM 154 CM, so I had to do some cattle carting ( stock removal

) on this job and thats a bit unusual for me these days ( I like to play with fire and hot steel ). Sorry for the quality of the pic ( as usual ) Just need to get the leather done.

Hunter, BL 8", 200mm OAL 13 1/2", 340mm. Stainless guard, brass spacer, Gidgee handle , domed pins.
Skinner, BL 3 1/2", 90mm OAL 8 1/4", 210mm. Stainless guard, brass spacer, Gidgee handle, domed pins

Thanks for the kind words. They are both made out of Gidgee ( my favourite Aussie hardwood )

"cattle carting" - that's bloody funny mate!

I love them both which is no doubt why your customer ordered both!

By my reckoning the blades look to be about HRC59 and the Gidgee HRC62
