A new blade style for my EDC knives which I call "Hunter Sneak"

Stainless steel AEB-L.
62 Rockwell hardness.
Liquid nitrogen quench that aids in corrosion resistance, edge retention and wear resistance.

This knife has a lot going on in a small package.
.186" Thick tapered down to .050" and 7.5" OAL.
An aggressive 3.5" hollow ground blade.
30 degree each side swedge.
Tapered Tang.
Black G10 liners.
Dovetailed green canvas micarta scales.
Copper hardware

Thanks for looking :)

Thanks everyone :)

I like the blade redesign compared to the original Sneak a lot.
Dawkind does love him some green micarta with red liners. :D

I call my line of EDC's concealed carry blades "Sneaks" there several of them like the New York Sneak, Stake Out Sneak, Stiff Horn Sneak, Sly Sneak, LT Sneak

I have a client who wanted me to name it "Pointy McPoint Face Sneak" LOL

Thanks everyone :)

Oh right, I meant in comparison to the LT Sneak.

Oh sure,

It is true, there seems to be 3 camps concerning American Tanto style, those who love it, those who don't and those can take it or leave it.

Personally I love it :)

I like this one a lot Adam. The handle reminds me of a Lum. Personally, I lean towards a little thinner stock, but that copper is right up my alley. Nice work.

Thanks,

Some styles a thinner stock is better for sure.

Loveless and Lum used 3/16" stock a lot on their blades. This one starts out at .190".

This allows for the hollow grind, swedge and tapered tang to really "POP" more then using 1/8" stock. A lot of steel is ground away to give this visual effect.

The LT Sneak, which handle this has, stands for Lum Tribute. The handle is a bit of the Lum and AG Russel Sting going on in it.

I am right with you on the copper, I thought it would look nice on the green canvas micarta.

Again thanks everyone!

Wow I LOVE that green mircata. Great work as always. Using that thicker stock to make the tapered tang pop makes alot of sense.
