Just finished this one, thought I would see what you guys think. I used a low layer of 1084 and 15N20 then added just a little twist to break the pattern.
Blade is 4" tip to guard OAL is 8 1/2", stainless fittings and stabilized maple.

I like it a lot. But, it seems to be too much handle for the blade, it looks off balance to me. Other than that, it IS a beautiful knife.
 
That maple looks like burl, and a very fine burl at that. The steel has a very nice pattern. I like the shape of the handle. Overall, very nice.
 
Thanks to all for posting. I like the way the pattern in the steel turned out so I can see myself useing more of it.

I was thinking that also, but with a 4" blade, I think the handle needs to be a bit longer. I bet it feels good in the hand and functions well.

It looks well made, nice damascus and clean lines.
