I have made two knives with guards and only this one with bolsters. Well at least bolsters made of metal. The handles are from an axis deer. I used blue liners and did some filework as well. It was impossible to get the antler symmetrical on both sides with out removing all the bark. The new owner is a big guy and likes that it will have a big swell in the handle.

Bolsters and knife look great, Frank! I've never worked with antler before, and I've wondered how people get them thinned down without removing all of the texture from them. Are they stabilized (and/or do they need to be?)
