Here's one I just finished for a customer. This has some REALLY nice ironwood form mark at Burlsource. Pictures never do ironwood justice.

Specs:

1/8" 1080 steel
Differentially Hardened
Triple tempered
3" Blade
7 1/2" Overall
Desert Ironwood Scales
Mosaic Pins

Nice file work! You didn't get a hamon out of that one?

Thanks for the comments. I did get a hardening line, actually two of them. It just didn't show up really good in the photo.

I like that!! As you say pictures never do Ironwood justice, but that sure does look like a real nice piece. I'me a big fan of it and it's my favourite wood.

Beautiful knife. You sure did a nice job finishing the wood. But I say that on all your knives.
