It's been a while since I posted any knives anywhere, but here's one I recently finished with the newish Ultrex Suretouch material. Talking to the Ultrex guys at Blade this year, I was told that one day one of their engineers realized that the vulcanized rubber/G10 layered gasket used downhole in oil wells they already made was a good concept for knife handle material, so this stuff was born. Imagine that a circuit board had a fling with a hockey puck, and this stuff appeared 9 months later... It debuted in 2019 at (I think) Blade West, but then Covid happened and it really hasn't taken off yet. YET being the key word

Anyway, it's super grippy even when wet or bloody or slimy, comes in black and all of the usual G10 colors and black, is easy to work with, etc. I love it, and will probably put it on most of my user knives going forward. This knife was the single most touched knife on my table at Blade and reactions were unanimously positive. I think I sold more of the material for Jantz than I did knives, but that's how it goes.

Here's a pic. Let me know what y'all think.
