l to r custom 06 carbon--gec pioneer [mdl 23 ] 1095 in red buffalo--last is gec musk in stag. although the pioneer will slice thru deer ribs the 06 hunter is faster in processing whitetails. the musk shines with rabbits & turkeys. these are'nt used as much in off season, although the pioneer is great at haystring & opening boxes.the straight knife has performed for 20 yrs.

Very nice knives. I don't actually hunt but this thing served me well as a general purpose knife.

I frankly don't know what company it is made by...The blade says "KVM hunting knife stainless Japan". I got is as a gift from someone who visited South Africa and found this at a flea market. Still a great little knife :thumbup:
