I am looking for a "do it all" fixed blade knife for Hunting/Fishing/Camping/Survival. I like either a drop point or a clip point and want a 4"-6" blade with a nice sturdy handle and sheath. I would like it to be very versitile and stainless if possible. I would also like to keep it under $100, what do you reccomend? Thanks

The ka-bar camp knife would be a good fit. around 60 usd retail. I have a ka-bar warthog , excellent knife can take a real beating.

rat cutlery either the rc-4 or rc-6 both very good knives ones just a little longer than the other

What about 5 knives for that $100?
Let's talk about the CS Bushman.
Let's face it "savageman", which other knife would you even consider to lash up a pole for use as a spear; given that such an option (should it actually even exist) will not seriously be even considered an option when it comes to more expensive knives, like a Lile Rambo?
If you were always afraid of throwing a perfectly good knife around, seems to me that you've found the perfect solution (granted that you're not one of those steel snobs)!

I second the Fallkniven F1. 4" blade, excellent V10 clad steel and three sheaths depending on your choice.
I have not come across any chores it will not do on a camping weekend.

Spyderco Moran , with the trailing point . Nice package , will do it all , good price . It is based on Bill Morans personal EDC piece .

Ontario T.A.K is just what you need  I like my TAK better than my RAT7 , The size is just right ! Check them out !

I like the Fallknivens, but for the money you're talking about, the Cold Steel Bushman is excellent. You'll have cash left over for a SAK and other necessary's

I recommend that you spend the rest of your life looking like the rest of us. Learning to read would be a good start, as there are a gazillion similiar threads here:rolleyes: Don't panic because your broker called....:D
