Hunting Crayfish With Pit Jr !

Took off for a lake with Pit Jr today !

Used my Mini Fishing kit from my PSK to see if we could get some Crayfish....

Not the greatest pic but ya can just make out a Crayfish as it was coming for our bait....

Not huge but when you have a few they would make a decent survival food !

Maisy was doing her scuba thing again....

Oh yeah now I'm soaked as well !!!!

The Tiny Terror had to think if she wanted to get wet or not !

And then she was in teasing Maisy again !!!!

Only one way to get clear of the terror now and that's to head way out....

Pit Jr decided enough was enough and jumped in himself....

I had to cool off as well so only one way to do it !

I miss catching crawfish as a kid.....Bacon works wonders...lol They dont taste half bad either!!!

Looks like you have some nice weather there. We have been in the low 70s F. I really wish it would be either really cold, or really hot so I can go into really cold water. Oh well.

I loved catching crawdads when I was a kid, hell I still like catching them. Great bait they are and even better eating, especially when you fry some tails up in bacon!

I like crawdads. You can put liver in a small bag made out of panty hose, tie a string around it and throw in the water. Make a few of these and every once in a while reel it in and the claws will be stuck in the panty hose.
