Hunting Down the Model of a Long Lost Buck

In the early/mid-80s had a beautiful Buck folder, the first knife I ever owned and the last one I lost. It had the brass bolsters and wood scales like the Buck 110. The blade was thinner than the 110 and in a second liner slot there was a crosscut saw. The saw was thick and I used it more than the blade, especially for cutting shingles. I lost it a long time ago, but despite looking high and low have never found another one like it. Does anyone know the model number or can point me in the right direction to find out more about it?

Sounds like a Browning knife not a buck. Take a look on ebay.

I don't know of any two bladed Buck knives with brass and wood that had a cutting blade with a saw blade. Now if you said a plastic handle then I would have said look at the 180 Crosslock or the Buck selector knives.

Thank you to everyone for their replies. This is a puzzle that has bothered me for quite some time. That Puma Game Warden and Jet Aer model 975 look pretty close, but the knife blade was thinner and wider, with more of a full flat grind.

The knife and saw look just like the Camillus Woodsman lockback (other than the markings on the blade), but the handle is all wrong. It had brass bolsters and the wooden panel job in the style of the Buck 110, but slightly wider. I think that you're onto something with the Camillus angle though, because while the Camillus Cutlery Lockback Folder KL08065 doesn't have the right blade or saw, it does have the wood and brass bolster style that my lost knife had.

It's also hard to say how old a knife model bought in a small town is, if it's a bit different, heavier than most people would want, and sits around a hardware store for a while.
