Hunting for a new Congress

Hi All. I'm looking for another large Congress to join my Queen D2 in EDC rotation. It won't have to do much hard work. I have discovered that I'm kind of picky with fit and finish. I like the Queen because the blades are 2.5" long, which is my legal limit. And I don't much care for tiny folders.

Suggestions? Pics?

What about any of the new GEC congress knives? Anyone know the length of the sheepsfoot blades? I would hope they are no more than 2.5" long for a 3 3/4" closed length knife.

I was checking out the Case Congress in CV, a steel I love. I think it was a medium though.

Have you been over to the 'bay? Congress is one of my favorite patterns (esp. single spring) and you'll find a "load'' of them there.

My next purchase appears to be a Congress. I absolutely love the Queen D2 large Congress that I got from Mike Latham over on Collectorknives.net. With it, I can carry a large knife with legal limit blades of 2.5". It's got heft. It's got fit and finish that's top notch. And it's got D2. What other offerings are out there that a knife guy would drool for but not blow the budget too bad? Mind you, I like em large.

Let's keep this to one thread please.

I have one and it is superb.

Not sure what you mean. My Queen is top shelf F & F. It's some of my other knives that have made me picky.

Yes, I think I'm going to go S & M or Boker.

Thanks!!!

Queen makes the sweetest Congress available. They are so smooth; one of my favorite knives.
