Hello, new here.
Just wanted to share a long term project that is finally finished.
I've been a hobby knifemaker for 4-5 years, but got a bit more serios about a year ago.
This knife, I started making the blade with a file jig, and it was sitting on a shelf for more than two years, but finally, I got it finished.
Just wanted to hear your thoughts about the build.

Steel: D2
Blade length: 115cm (4-1/2")

From what can be seen in the clip it looks like it turned out great with a very nice sheath.

You should do a cut test, that looks like thick stock

Also nice job on the handle. Can't say anything in detail on the build as there are no close up stills.

H Houlahound , I'll upload some photos soon.
About the cutting test... It is a fairly thick stock (4,7mm) where I also left a thick edge. It does cut paper, it does shave, but wouldn't be good for cutting an apple..
L Lnd Crzr quite a lot of time, especially in polishing hardened D2 with up to 0,5 micron diamond paste.
