I hope this is the right arena - I liked the "Traditional" title.
I'm looking for a reference that gives good descriptions of hunting knives manufactured in the 1940-1960 era. In particular, I am interested in the companies, their markings, and designs. Such companies as Imperial, Utica, Hammer, Colonial, Western, Kinfolks, etc., are my main interest.
The reference material I find, and have purchased some, deal more with current products. These seem to concentrate on today's manufacturers.
So, does anyone here know of such a source covering the earlier manufacturers, or can someone point me in the right direction?
Any, and all, help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks.
