Hunting season is just about here!

Here in northern Ohio and southern Michigan the Whitetail season is about ready to start! Pretty much everyone around here is getting amped up for what is hopefully another successful year of hunting. What states are you hunting in, past success pictures, what are you doing to be prepared, trail camera pics of current hit lists? Let's see those horns!

Our best deer hunting phase has passed (Feb through to May)) except for the species that like the tropics (Chital) which I am hoping to go bother in the middle of October... !! Swine are however the gift that keeps on giving !!! I have a few jobs to get done on two of my rifles before I head away however. I have too many historical pics (that most have seen anyway) to clutter up the thread but I do look forward to others !

Although I don’t get to deer hunt, which there is a lot of around me in PA, I get to occasionally take some birds. Ringneck pheasants, roughed grouse, woodcock, and maybe some bobwhites.

Here is an Ohio buck from 2016- was a quick down and dirty gun hunt that year, 450 Bushmaster does the trick!

I use a .50 cal muzzleloader with a stupid clear accurate scope.

we hunt in southwest minnesota corn fields.

I've never had to reload it.

Elof we are way to north for shorts during our hunting seasons lol. Sometiems I wish we had more warm weather but it also keeps a lot of guys out of the swamps as they don’t wanna risk getting wet.
