Grumpy, you are much better than you gave yourself credit for. That's a darn fine sheath!

Paul , i owe a lot of credit to you and dave for helping me out since i've been a member on here. It's been hard to find time to work on anything. Thanks for the tips and tricks you and dave have been giving me.

cheers

shayne

Grumpy the only centerfire bolt action I own is a Mod 70 Featherweight XTR in 7x57. Looks like we're close. Love shooting the Swede.

the only?! geez dave , you must make up with semi's and break open's haha. I love the 7x57. If you get the chance to try a k-31 dave , do it. It's my favourite rifle thus far and has a very unique straight pull bolt. I meant to take it on my moose hunting trip this year but I couldn't find soft points in time.

ahhhhh ... how I wish we had the second amendment ....

Mostly a lever action kinda guy. Have fired that Swiss, actually quite a bit. My little brother has one. Crazy accurate too wiith that funny trigger. Feels like its broken then bang and you hit exactly where you were aiming. Under fire bro its under fire.

I'd sure like to know how you used the 12 gauge case head for a snap. Is it soldered to a regular snap button?
