Hunting with a knife, Knife

I was watching tred barta the other day and he was hunting with a knife. I got to thinking what would be the best knife for hunting with.

Any ideas about the best knife for hunting hog?

I had a customer who went boar hunting with a Ka-bar I sold him.
But he was an idiot.

I think any knife with a blade around 5 inches with a sharp point and a sharp edge...getting close enough to use it is far more important.

Hog are pretty nasty and I wouldn't ever suggest trying to hunt them with a knife. I would suggest getting a pack of dogs and a rifle lol

You can eASILY HUNT WILDBOAR WITHA KNIFE

A certain tough guy from work,we'll call him "Junior",was going to one of the Carolinas to hunt Wild Boar(from the video it turned out to be a domesticated pig) with an S&W hunting knife.He ended up shooting the Boar with a .44 Mag. revolver.Smartest thing ole "Junior" ever did.tom.

A classic method would be a boar spear or a crossbow. Definitely safer than a knife.
