Anybody here hunt with throwing knives?
I never have. But it seems like a wild sport.
And if you have, what type of knife did you use?
On another topic: What is the biggest throwing knife you have thrown?

See you on the trail

cut a slot in a 6' pole. insert handle of throwing knife in same. tape or wire securely.
I suppose you could get lucky......

A thrown knife is adequate for small game, such as rabbits. However, out of respect for the animal; you MUST be able to make the throw every time, you MUST be able to accurately judge distance, you MUST be able to stalk within range, and you MUST have the patience to wait for the perfect opportunity.

Use a heavy, sharp knife and throw hard. Animals have more give than wood targets.
Accuracy is very important. You must hit the vitals. Knives don't kill quickly and animals cling to life.

Knives also tear up the game.
