I have posted the same topic in the Knife Throwing forum, so lets hear from the Wild Hurlers

THUNK

I've never hunted with a Tomahawk, but years ago, we would go "sticking" for rabbits. When it would snow more than 6" we'd go out in the pastures and throw slightly bent hictory sticks at the rabbits...we werent really good, and when you did hit one it made a terrible noise. At which point, 3 or 4 12 year old would converge upon it an rapidly put it out of it's misery.

About the same time in my life, I killed a mature locust tree in our back yard with repeated tomahawk sticks...does that count?
