Was looking at the Canadian Tyre website and saw several Huntshield knives. Never heard of them. Google search seems to only direct to Canadian Tyre. Is it a store brand?

Seems to be a store brand.
I bought that very knife in the picture (Canadian All-Purpose Hunter), and it's actually not too bad.
Made in China, but AUS-8 steel, with a serviceable leather sheath (not the best sheath, but whatever.
I actually gave it to my dad last night while having a coffee at Tim Horton's...he was worried about losing his really awesome knife while out in the woods.
With this knife, he won't be worried about losing it, but it should work fine for medium use tasks while out in the woods.
I say go for it, especially when they're on sale. :thumbup:
