I'd say those would probably be good for a hunter to process game.
I call hatchets of this construction " hatchet shaped knives " because that's kind of what they are, and seem t fit more of a cleaver role than a hatchet roll.
They still have their place, and and these ones are kind of cool 👍
It's certainly not the same as an traditional axe or hatchet, mainly in regards to splitting firewood. It's not a thick wedge, but it works very well for cutting wood.
