Hurak Fighter - Sam Lurquin

Having heard a lot about his clients approval of Sam Lurquin's Hurak Fighter last fall, including co-workers and several special forces friends, I requested one from Sam to be delivered at this year's Blade Show. Sam jumped the gun somewhat and alerted me it was on its way to Coop this month for some of his magic. Happy to share these results:

It will have some Paul Long leather I hope to share later.

I like it. a LOT. I'd like to see the same thing in a longer blade too.

Beautiful purchase that this knife, with besides beautiful photos. I hasten to see the Paul Long sheath...

I like this original version thought by Sam. Damascus Blade, Koa, Gun Blue gard.
I'm impatient to discover on beautiful photos the other versions....W2 blade with hamon, Damascus gard, or Black Micarta & Maraging....
I believe that I could make just a collection of Hurak....

Yes, as Berno states, Koa handle. Sam and I discussed some various options for my Hurak earlier, and this is what he came up with. W2 used in the damascus. Heavily tested before completetion. I was elated he wanted it in Coop's hands. Thanks for the great images, Coop.

Working with Sam is a treat. I can't wait to meet and greet at Blade.

i just did a quick view of sam's site, he his designs are incredible!
 
I love this guys fighters and hunters. So nice!

The grooves on the top of the guard seem pretty functional if you want to put your fingers there.
