So I’ve had this knife for about 5 or 6 weeks now. I love the overall design of this knife. I have carried it in my front pocket every day since I’ve owned it. It is so slim that I can’t even tell that it’s there.

I have only used it for simple tasks (opening packages etc) but I have no doubt that it can do much more.

It’s a great EDC knife. I’m actually considering ordering another but in S30V this time.

Thanks. John, do you still have any 3/32? 154cm or other stainless steel?

The HCL loves 3/32" thick steel. I love mine in S30V and burlap. I was using it for carving up a prototype this weekend and I was reminded how great of a slicer it is and how nimble the tip is. It's a great EDC/most-purpose knife and really shines when ease of carry is important. I'm not sure how it wasn't even more popular.

I have mine available for rent for those interested but forgot to add it to my list when it was finally returned from the passaround it went on last year.

Mine gets used daily. I absolutely love the design.

What length is the handle? The blade is the normal length?

Regular blade length with 4" handle. Because I wanted it as a lightweight hiker I wanted to make sure it would be comfortable to start fires. The straightback element hunter is my "big" hiking knife, or just a companion knife (little of this, little of that in a small package). Both S30V and burlap micarta.
