This is another in the Huron line, the Huron EDC. These are the specs:

7 1/4" overall
3" blade
1/8" thick
1 1/8" tall at the widest part of the blade
7/8" tall handle

Let`s hear your thoughts on this one.

That looks VERY cool. My favorite of the series.

oh hell, you are killing me. I REALLY like it.... Only thing is it is too large to be a companion to my Huron I. Nearly the same size. What about a Huron Necker... a bit larger than a Neckmuk.. say 6-6 1/4.

Great design. Great design. :)

Hmmm....... Are you ready to design another one Jim?

Thats awsome John! It kind of reminds me of a smaller version of the leaf blades that Magnussen posted in WSS the other day. Its definately another winner!

Hey John, You bet!! The whole Huron Series really turned out special, Thank you! Now we need to get a few of each in stock so we can put them on the web site. I think if your up to it we will try our hand at an additon to the Huron Series with another EDC style knife a little different than this. I personally really enjoy small knives, and along with this Huron EDC I would like to add a pocket carry using one of Matt Millers Kydex Sheaths. Something in the 5 3/4" length with a 2 3/4" blade.... I will get the drawing to you next week.

I have to tell you, my favorite is the original HB1 you did in 3/16"....the balance and overall feel of the knife was amazing. I am equally anixious to get my hands on the new HB1 in 1/8".

As soon as you get these to me, I will be putting the Huron III, the Huron Bushcrafter I in 1/8" and this Huron EDC all up on the web site. The pricing for all of them will be the same 149.00 with FREE SHIPPING for the time being. Lets build a couple of each of the new series John and see what folks think of them.

Thanks again for a really great build!!

Jim Howe

I think this might be the one I will finally decide on for my spot, but maybe a necker version. I am thinking a Huron Necker with a 2.75 blade and a 3.25-3.5 handle. If I could get that in thin slabs I would be set!

Great design, similar to the Grohmanns that I like so much.

wow... once again, another knife i love toting the "huron" name...:D this one looks really cool.. i like it a lot...

Will you still be making these?

Scandi grind, a bit of leaf shape, full handle, 01 steel... it's like you're reading my mind here. What's the thickness of the blade, btw? 1/8"?

edit: pitdog's pic is the reason I came looking for this thread
