Well, she beat me down.
Hole through roof into bathroom ceiling. Destroyed my garage. Fence down. Debris for weeks to come

First and foremost, family is good. Families cars are destroyed but, this is gonna be a long road to recovery.

Trying to post some pictures, but having issues right now.

I'm so sorry to hear, but glad the most important is ok. Anything we can do to help?

We pulling 12-18 hour days. Cutting paths into neighborhoods to get to trapped people.
Property is easy to replace, and thank to the higher powers, we are all ok.

not sure if some update to the forum, but I can’t seem to post pictures. Or do I need to update my account?

If I can get some assistance posting pictures Feel free to text

Niner Ait Fif Too Wun Fif Too Too Six Niner.

Terrible news mate. I hope you can all get back on your feet quickly without too many dramas. I've seen some of the footage of the storm - terrifiying!

Jeez that’s a downer. Sorry you’re dealing with that, but so glad your family came through without injury.

Happy to hear you and your family are ok 👍👍

At least you seem to have power and internet.

It could just be cell service. I was without power for a few weeks after Hurricane Rita, but could still occasionally get online with a cell phone hotspot and a laptop computer. (I had a portable generator that I cuould run for about an hour a day, but on the Gulf coast at this time of year, if you can't run the air conditioner, it doesn't count as having power.)

Fortunately the local Home Depot set aside a couple generators for first responders. So today was first day I was able to get a window unit for Lady Gravel and the gravel Cubs. And I’m pretty sure my dogs thought we hated them. Been sneaking out a couple hot lunches one of our guys graciously volunteered to be our designated cook. Been handing out MREs to my neighbors as gas lines have been in excess of 2-3 hours and they haven’t been able to leave. 6 weeks estimate for restored power. Plenty to chop though!!!! Hopefully I’ll get a day off from these mid night to 6 pm shifts to tear ass with my favorite blades!!!!

Sorry to hear about this, that's tough going. Thankfully all your family are well.

Glad family and dogs are well. Hope that services come back soon. Events like that test resources you have in place. sounds like you were reasonably prepared
