Hey guys. Living in the shoreline in CT, hurricane sandy will be hitting almost directly as far as i've read. Needing to help out the neighbors and such tying things down, I've been using my Salt I. Thank god for H1 steel, i wouldn't bring any of my other knives out in this crap! I need to get a PE pacific salt... Thanks spyderco!

Evacuations all around my road. Well see how it turns out.
 
Boston area...hundred foot white pine down on the garage...two others in immediate area blocking street, live power on street, praying no fire...
 
Clifton, New Jersey here. My street is a war zone.Just had 2 Clifton LEO's come knocking to ask if they could cut through my house and backyard to get to the other

side of the block where a tree apparently went down shearing a home open.I cannot believe the severity of the wind and that I actually still have power.

Just want to get my son and wife through this safely. The LEO's said that there are still people out driving!
 
Yeah people are being irresponsible around here. It took 5 days for Irene to restore power. I wonder how long for sandy. Thank god for surefire and spyderco.
