Hust got a Gerber Instant...

Hey guys, Just got an Instant today. Only noticble blemish was some the pocket clip looked a little worn already. No big deal. Probally just from how it sat and probally rub around in the packaging. However the assit does not always fully deploy the blade, if you touch it off too light. This I think can be fixed just by loosening the pivot a little. But before I mess with it, just want to get some thoughts from you guys on that. Also one last thing is the torsion bar just glued in there? it looks like it. (again not complaining, I like the knife alot so far. I did only get it like 2 hours ago)

There's been a RECALL issued for those from Gerber, contact them direct for a No-cost return envelope....

I understand the recall is over. Mine is the "2.0" version.

That suppose to be past that or so they say.

I have contacted Gerber either way, but it says it could take up to 5 business days to get back to me. Lets not forget no the holidays, so I probally won't hear from them for weeks.
SO for now in th meantime I'd like to see what other people say.

It seems to be doing a little better now. But not quite there yet. Maybe it just needs time to break in.

Its also my first knife with a ball bearing pivot system so not sure if that has anything to do with it.
