Recently took possession of a new BM 940-2 nad it's kicked my 21 outta my pocket it's so light and thin in the pocket you don't even know it's there. I really need to get myself a mnandi.

The 940 series are popular for good reason. They are slim and easy to carry with a useful blade. I have an original aluminum scale version that has seen much use and abuse.
But, I am forever adjusting the pivot, adding and removing loctite and plumbers tape.
My CR 21s have kicked out my 940 and it now resides in my car console.

There are some solid benchmades out there. My buddy carries the cf version of that one, nice knife.

That's not a problem that kind of thing happens all the time.

One of the main reasons I don't carry a 940 anymore. Reason for this I believe is the pivot is the old thing holding the knife together on the top half of the knife. Last handle screw is several inches away. Put all the side to side pressure on the pivot.

Does this post feel like it would have been better served if made in the BM forum?

1. Who is "Huston" that you are reporting this to?
2. Perhaps this post would be better served in the BM forum.
3. The 94x series is a nice line-up. I had a 943 for a while before moving on to the better quality found in CRK.

In general, the new knife kicks the current knife out of my pocket. But the best knives eventually find their way back in.

For me, it's the 21 that winds up back in the pocket.

1. Wow, you found a spelling error, I'm sure you knew exactly the quote referred to here!
2. Why don't all you over zealous fan boys get your panties out of a bunch. This is a knife forum after all, if you don't like where it's posted then don't comment, it's really that simple.
3. Yes it is.

4. CRK is a nice knife but there are and always will be better values out there that will offer the same if not better performance for the dollar. Heck even CRK has a lineup to suit a vast audience and their uses.

This no longer seems to fit here and is starting to degrade to pettiness.

With that, we are done.
