Check out this statement from an online dealers ad for Bucks. They must not know anything about the people at Buck or their warranty! ;) The red lettering was done by me.

"This Buck product comes with the FULL Buck Warranty. We are an authorized reseller -- don't buy your Buck merchandise from unauthorized sellers, or you will likely have difficulties getting your warranty honored. We, of course, do include the warranty registration slip with this item, brand new in the box."

Oh thank goodness, the slip comes with it! I got one once without the slip and i'm afraid if I have a problem I'm stuck:p:D

I think they are piling it on deep. However, there is some truth if you buy one from one of the online dealers who customized it yet still claims that the warranty is good on it.

I got one of those a few years back on the 'bay before I knew about the warranty being voided.

Thats true for the customized ones but this dealer doesn't sell those. Their's are all new factory knives. I've never sent in a warranty slip for any Buck I own and I'm very confident that Buck doesn't care where you bought it or who you bought it from.

I've sent those in before and I'm not sure if Buck ever sees them . Some marketing firm is my guess . So, then they formulate a profile on whos purchasing Buck knives . Dm

That quote cracks me up.

So say you have a Buck knife and had it several years and want to sell it here or on eBay, can you? are you an authorized seller? Does that mean you have to keep it forever because you don't have a business license of some kind and sell them on a regular basis.
