Hey guys, I just finished up this Hybrid fighter and thought some of you may like to see it. It is a combination of some fighters I have built in the past with the tantos I have been building recently. It has deep fullers on the sides and my signature tapered fuller on the spine. The blade is 8.5" of .280" 3V with a near sharp clip. OAL is 14". The spacer is hammered copper, along with the menuki. The guard is Orange peeled and heat colored 6al4v titanium. It is balanced nicely on the ricasso and is fast and lively in hand.

Thanks for looking!

I like this better than any of this type I've seen you post, Ben:thumbup::cool:

Yikes Ben! You're not giving me enough time between blades to reel my jaw back in. This is nice! Mike

Ben

I like it

What is the blade thickness at the spine at the guard and at the area right before the clip ?

Is it the same ?

I can not tell from the pic

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure how people would like the design, but the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive.

Thanks Joe.
On this one the distal taper is in the front third of the blade. But with the deep fullers, the balance is still right at the guard. The thickness is .280" at the guard.

Now we are talking.. Next thing would be to see if it could be mounted to a molle vest or ruck. But that is my own opinion

Nice Ben

I keep coming back for another look at this one. Amazing how well the hybridized parts work together visually to create such a satisfying package.

Very nice images as well.

That thing is sick Ben

Nice work!

That's a very appealing knife! I really like your work with fullers, those are both deep and crisp.

Again, thanks for the comments! I really appreciate the feedback.
