no trades at this time, BUT, I may consider it if you have a Kershaw Spec Bump, 1st generation G10 1596 with the narrow grooved G10. (Not the newer Starburst cut)

Couple of questions:

Regarding the handle, is it aluminum or "a durable double injection-molded plastic called Akulon, plus a Santoprene overlay for excellent gripping traction" as described on a dealer site?

How do you find the handle compared to the Spec Bump?

Also, it appears from one of the photos that there is an extra screw on the back side. Is that a lock of some sort? How is the fit of the Spec blade in the Bump handle? Any differences (e.g., thumb stud position) vs. the Bump blade?

Thanks.

Handle is aluminum, the DLC that Kershaw uses has a nice grippy feel to it.

Compared to the Spec, the handle is thinner.

The extra screw is indeed a lock, clicks up to lock, down to unlock. The fit of the Spec blade in the body of the Speed handle is perfect. I have found that all of the Spec/Speed blades and handles are all interchangeable.
