Hybrid Skookum bowie

I just realized I hadn't shared pics of this big guy. This is a hybrid version of my Skookum bowie I've being doing a few of lately. This one has a 3V blade with my custom heat treat, a titanium guard, copper seppa and menuki. The blade has deep fuller and a nice bit of distal taper. It is well balanced and feels great in hand.

I just love this one. It all fits together. Reminds me a little of some of the stuff Don Fogg was doing, at least with the conceptual realm of combining the bowie with Japanese handle elements. Reminding me of Don is always a compliment, too.
