(Let me start with apologies for those of you that see this on other forums--I am simply trying to get as much info as possible.)
I have had no luck having a press made for me by July--the only time I am able to pick it up and ship it back to Korea with me. Ron Claiborne and the guys as Swain Spring were all very nice and helpful, but they are also busy and I have a very limited time frame.
I see myself as having two options, and am interested in pursuing both of them. The first it having someone else build it--any ideas? The second is getting a set of plans that I like and building it myself. I have Dr. James Batson's book and like it very much (thanks Don!). But I also like Ron Claiborne's design, and some others. Basically, I want to see as many options as possible before deciding on one, or a combination of some. I also like the smaller H-Frame presses, but am wondering if there are any plans out there for one that presses down rather than up.
