THIS IS A PIC OF MY PORTABLE UNIT THAT I JUST FINISHED, EXCEPT FOR THE WIRING. I MADE IT PORTABLE SO I CAN USED IT ON THE 20 & 35 TON PRESSES THAT I AM BUILDING.

impressive, :D

can you explain how you are using the hydrolics?

I am working on plans for a trip hammer, but was leaning tward pnumatics not hydrolics.

L6-the dog's name is Ferrari
Eric-I went with a press because it is quieter than a hammer,
I live in the center of the city. My nieghbors wouldn't like the sound of a trip hammer. They don't even apperciate the straight pipes on my Harley (HeHeHe).

Yeah thats a nice looking unit O K. But doesn't the dog get tired fast???

Eric I really think hydraulics are WAY too slow for a trip hammer. Air is the way to go there. The Kinyon plans (more a concept than plans actually) sold by ABANA are well worth studying. I would not take for my air hammer. It can pound out the taper on a long farriers file really fast.
