Hyper by United Cutlery..

:mad::mad::mad::mad:
It's bad enough when you see the Chinese knock offs but from United? I do believe a phone call from the lawyers is in order here :grumpy::grumpy:

Thanks for posting this.
It is being dealt with.

That's pretty low. I don't even want to look at who else they ripped off, those two alone are way too obvious. There is no excuse for this. It's so easy to use design elements as inspiration without ending up with the same knife. :barf:

Not surprising. I think the United Cutlery name was bought by Taylor Cutlery after they went under a while ago.

Schrade went down the same way.
Really sad to see those formerly respected names dragged in the mud by unscrupulous company (although not sure United Cutlery ever got respected).

The United items I saw were fairly straightforward. A lot of fantasy -- for which there is a legitimate market. Working knives too cheaply made for me to care, but some better than others.

I have no respect for companies that buy old names for no purpose but deceit. If they were as good as they tell us they are, if they had any self-confidence, they would develop their own brands and their own reputation.

Chad I didn't know you designed a knife for UC:pDoc:D
The best way to deal with this crap is through lawyers....Shame on you United "Rip Offs" Cutlery!!!.....:thumbdn:
