Hello all, my dad recently gave me his collection of knives that I’ve always had a special place in my heart for. As I comb through thess boxes I’m coming up with a lot of questions. Here’s one I can’t figure out...what is C.M. McClung and company and what is this made of? Thanks in advance. (I’ll have plenty more questions to come)

Thanks for the help guys. Here’s the knife pic!

C.M. McClung&Co was a hardware importer in Knoxville TN from 1886-1960. The knife is likely German made.

Try and upload pics to imgur.com and just copy the link here. Don't worry about embedding the images.

See the pictures now. It's a Barlow pattern with a well used clippoint blade. Looks like bone handle. That's the limit of my knowledge.
Someone smarter will come soon to confirm handle material and give a more accurate date range.
