I decided to finally join here and gain a little access. I’m interested in a pretty wide variety of knives from US made boot knives to higher quality straight razors. Gun and Knife shows have turned mostly into junk shows and EBay, we’ll you never know what you’ll be getting over there.

I joined over here with the hope of picking up a few knives I’ve been search around for for a week or so.

All that said, I’m Geoff, thanks for having me!
 
Welcome. Just a suggestion that was given to me but I didn't follow until 2 years after being here. (Which was stupid). Invest in a paid membership even if it's only the $10 one like me, but gold is much better and u get access to more with it. (I couldn't afford it at the time). If you're gonna be buying alot the paid membership makes it much easier to communicate and if you get the gold you can sell the knives you buy that don't work out. Check out the feedback subforum also....... Well that's all the crap advise I have today:D:D:D

Welcome. There's alot off good info and good people. Also check out the "pay it forward" thread in the general subforum. That could get you experience new stuff also

Welcome Geoff ! Like Brhowser said the paid membership is much better and will pay for itself if and when you do any sales. It also gets you some other helpful features. Good advice!

You’ll find some good info in all the forums so take a look around just be aware there’s also some less than helpful dopes around but not many. There’s many good and helpful members here and you’ll soon know who they are. Have fun!
 
I think the paid membership at the Gold level is worth it if for nothing else than convenient posting of pictures from your computer. No service needed. Hope you enjoy your time here.
 
Welcome to the forum. Buying and selling knives can be fun(though expensive), but don't overlook the knowledge you can find here. I have recieved much more from reading and participating then from the exchange.

Good. This place is far too tempting :p
One of my money saving tactics is to stay off Blade Forums for a little while to get some scratch up :D

No really though, Welcome! Once you get tired of all the "junk" out there in the knife world and you want honest answers from good people,
that can you point you in the direction of quality, Blade Forums is one of the best, if not the best, place to be. :)
