I broke my Sebenza down for the first time this morning and cleaned the pivot and reapplied a small amount of grease from CRK. It is ALOT smoother and ohhh so sweet now! There was some thick, gooped up grease from the factory, almost hardened into a ball.
This was where I finally understood what the Sebenza is all about. It’s still centered with no play with the pivot screw out! What a well thought out and engineered cutting tool. The tolerances of this thing make me shake my head.
Anyways, that’s my quick thoughts this morning. I am overly impressed, and I finally “get” what a CRK is, and the happiness and pride that comes with owning one. Now I have a dilemma, do I get the Inkosi 25 next, or another Large Sebenza with Insingo blade? I really like the Insingo blade shape.
